New at Dryad: Empowering reuse of cognitive neuroscience data
Dryad is making it easier to find and reuse data by collecting and sharing discipline-specific metadata. We’ve rolled out an optional metadata template for researchers in cognitive neuroscience to provide enhanced information about their methods, variables, experimental design, and more, when they submit data.

Partnerships: Dryad and the Generalist Repository Ecosystem Initiative (GREI)
Funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to enhance data sharing options for biomedical researchers, GREI is kicking off its third year by reflecting on its achievements so far, including beginning implementation of consistent metadata standards across repositories, publishing a catalog of use cases for data sharing and discovery, and establishing standardized metrics for tracking data usage and citations.
